Gender Identity

(ONGOING SERIES)

My paintings are often about the intersectionality of people and their frequent precarious positions. Men and women from the fringes of society are depicted in this group of paintings. I reflect upon the beauty, seductiveness, and oppression of diverse people. Their unique visual stories are shared in stimulating ways that are meant to spark curiosity and peak the senses.

“Her paintings in this series switches moods to more benevolent, witty observations on gay cruising at the beach, leather daddies in outer space, and the appalling choices facing young men in a gun crazed culture." — Matthew Kangas, writer and art critic

All paintings in this series are available as Archival Prints (limited edition of 10)
