Mostly Women
(ONGOING SERIES)
This group of paintings speak to the many facets of women’s lives, from love to ironing, from women observing the world, to dancing in the world. The work depicts solitary women, fearful, and angry women. Women who have a little part of me in them – or the woman I aspire to be. In our multi-faceted world of work, family, and the outside world, I attempt to paint women in all facets of life from the gun-toting gal to the violin player.
" Li Turner's vivid use of color and whimsy is delightful in this series of paintings." —Theodore Bryant, writer
All paintings in this series are available as Archival Prints (limited edition of 10).
